Discover the perfect vacation rental with Nelsons Retreat
Upper and Lower Post Lake, northern Wisconsin's best kept secret, has the largest body of water in Langlade County. They are joined by a no wake channel/bay which is navigable by pontoons, fishing boats, ski boats, and even jet skis and kayaks travel the bay from one lake to the other. There is a total of 1136 acres of water which makes fishing enjoyable. The dam insures the water level stays pretty consistent. Fish species include large and small mouth bass, northern, bluegill, crappie, musky and walleye.
Our cozy little cabin is just a short drive from these areas: approximately 29 miles SE of Rhinelander, about 12 miles SW of the Crandon Int'l Off Road Raceway, Mole Lake Casino is only 6 miles away and 200 miles N of Milwaukee. Based in The Post Lake area in Langlade County where you will have easy access to 841 lakes, 225 streams and 395 miles of trout streams with opportunities for lots of activities like walking, biking, backpacking, fishing, boating, and swimming. Easy access to the snowmobile and ATV trails. You can ride right from the cabin with access to hundreds of miles of trails. There is plenty to do for all ages.

At Nelsons Retreat, we offer a very clean, updated vacation rental cabin that provides comfort and tranquility. Our cabin is designed to enhance your experience on Post Lake, making it the perfect getaway for families and couples alike.
RENTAL FEES
Peak Season Memorial Day through Labor Day
Weekly Rentals Only Sunday to Sunday
$900/WEEK plus 505% sales tax
Off Peak Season Starts After Labor Day to Memorial Day
Available Nightly With A Two Night Minimum
$165/night plus 5.5% sales tax

POLICIES AND CANCELLATIONS
We require half down for your reservation to be confirmed for both nightly and weekly rentals. Your dates are secured once we receive your signed rental agreement and down payment. Balance is due 3 weeks prior to checking in. We reserve the right to rent out your dates if the balance is not paid on time. There is an addition $150 incidental security deposit required with all reservations. The security deposit is refundable provided all things are left as found and no damages or incidences. Additional cleaning fees and/or repair fees may be added if there are damages or incidences.
We accept Venmo, checks, money orders or cash in advance. Send checks payable to Nelsons Retreat LLC, 749 Deresch St, Antigo, WI 54409.
Peak Season Weekly Rental cancellations: Deposits will be refunded, minus a $50 service ONLY if we are able to fill your whole reservation.
Off peak season: Deposits will be
refunded if cancelled within 48 hours of check in.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR CABIN
Our two bedroom cabin has all of the amenities you need for an enjoyable vacation. Our 2 bedroom cabin has a queen bed in the main bedroom and a twin bunk and twin bed in the second bedroom. There is a fully stocked kitchen, updated bath and living room all tastefully decorated in a northwoods theme. We provide bathroom and kitchen linens, paper towel and toilet paper and dish detergent. There is a firepit with a tripod for cooking and a gas grill as well. Lawn furniture provided. Firewood provided for a small fee. There is a pier for your water toys.
PARKING
There is ample parking for vehicles and toy trailers. Please do not park on the driveway/road.
HOUSE RULES
Check in is 3:00pm and check out is before 10:00am
You may have visitors but only registered guests are allowed to stay. No campers or tents unless previously authorized. Extra charges will apply.
WiFi available for guest use.
No eating in bedrooms.
No smoking or vaping in the house or on decks or near open windows/doors. Do not discard butts in the yard or on the property. Security deposit will surrendered if this policy is violated.
Quiet time is 11pm - 9am. You must respect the privacy of your neighbors and be conscious of your noise levels, so as to not disturb the peace. Any complaints will diminish your chances of renting again.
We do not prohibit alcohol use on our property, however we prefer no drunkenness. No parties allowed.
Fireworks are not allowed.
Pets are not allowed.
